[Oct 01, 2007]   Tasting Schedule - October 2007
Wines from Oregon (October 1 - 7) – With this week’s tasting we’ll be winging our way to the West Coast, to the Willamette Valley of Oregon. This bustling winemaking region is full of cutting edge producers and we’ve got some of those here along with one of the originals.
 
Spanish Conquistadors (October 8 - 14) – Muy Bien! These go-getters are pushing the envelope when it comes to quality and value from the Iberian Peninsula. The grapes for these wines range from Viura to Godello and even the very traditional Tempranillo that is not always found in a traditional form.
I Vini Piemontesi d’Italia (October 15 - 21) – From the Piedmont region in Northwest Italy, these wines range from bright and fruity to sumptuous and tannic. A wine for all seasons and now that we’re getting into Fall it’s a great time to break them out.
Will a Prius Run on Riesling?  (October 22 – 28) - Why is Riesling so treasured by wine lovers? I’ll give you a hint: It’s not because it’s sweet.
