Matt Kinne produces wines with lower alcohol levels and higher acidity that makes his wines closer to Burgundy than California. We love the purity of his wines, especially with the 2007 vinage where climate conditions forced many producers to seriously reduce their crop and drop a lot of unripe grapes from the vine.
Matt decided to consolidate his entire 2007 production into just a single bottling of his entry-level Willamette Valley cuvee. This is a good thing for every Pinot Noir lover out there because the wines are stellar.
